The Saint James Birders Club will host Paul Osmer and his raptor friends from the Cape Fear Raptor Center located in Rocky Point, N.C. This is a nonprofit organization that relies on donations to feed, treat and care for these birds in rehabilitation and educational programs. Their goal is to rehab and then release birds back into their natural habitat. Sadly some birds are so badly injured that they have to be euthanized. Other birds that cannot be released are used in educational programs. Additional information with photos and videos of released birds can be found at This special program its a great opportunity to view and photograph these magnificent birds up close and personal. The Birders will give a small donation and we will take  additional donations at the program from attendees. Any amount will be appreciated.
